Brochure Exchange

Effective 3/16/20 Watkins Glen Area Chamber of Commerce events, seminars, conferences, and gatherings are all postponed. We anticipate re-scheduling these events when appropriate, and/or potentially leveraging videoconferencing to assist us. In the meantime please call our offices during regular business hours with any questions at (607) 535-4300, and thank you for your support and patience.

All Watkins Glen Area Chamber of Commerce tourism-based businesses are welcome to participate in our always-popular Brochure Exchange!

Where: Parking Lot of Lakeside Park at Clute Park, 155 S. Clute Park Drive
When: Friday, April 24, 2020, 8:00 am – 11:00 am
8:00 am – 8:30 am: Set-up
8:30 am - 10:30 am: Brochure Exchange
10:30 am – 11:00 am: Tear-down
What: Trunk-or-Treat style brochure exchange, rain or shine!

This means you will pull your car in, pop your trunk or tailgate (which we encourage you to decorate), set up a table (if you want), hang your banners or signage, and really have fun with your space! Set-up begins at 8:00 am, and the event will begin at 8:30 am. We promise you’ll get a lot out of this mere three-hour commitment!

This is also your chance to pick up copies of our 2020 Schuyler County Travel Guides, hot off the presses, to share with visitors!  Throughout the morning you will able to exchange your brochures, rack cards and/or guides with fellow tourism-based businesses, stock your brochure racks for the season with area activities, attractions, accommodations, and more, and of course network with tourism industry colleagues. So many important connections are made at this event and we hope you'll join us! Attendees include accommodations, wineries, restaurants, attractions, breweries, creameries, and more: all who are actively seeking materials to stock their brochure racks for the busy tourist season!

The best part? There is no cost for chamber members to participate (it is $100 for non-chamber members)!  Click here to download the registration form, then email it to Events Manager Liz Salamendra at

The registration deadline is April 17, but we encourage you to act today! Space is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Advance registration for a booth and proof of insurance are required. Call Liz with questions at (607) 535-4300.
