Membership Engagement Committee
Committee Chair: Carmella Hoffman, Sunset View Creamery
The purpose of the Membership Engagement Committee is to reinforce membership value and experience through networking, programing, and ambassadorship.
Meetings held the 2nd Thursday of each month at 8:30am. All meetings are held virtually via ZOOM until further notice.
Tourism Taskforce
Committee Chair: Matt Bush, Watkins Glen/Corning KOA Resort
It is the mission of the Tourism Task Force to catalyze and collaborate on initiatives that lead to retaining and gaining market share for the Schuyler County tourism sector.
Meetings are held the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 8:30am. All meetings are held virtually via ZOOM until further notice.
Gala Committee:
Committee Chair: Ron Beck, Magnolia Place Bed & Breakfast
The purpose of the Gala Committee is to support the Chamber in the planning and execution of the annual Gala.
All meetings are held in person at the Chamber offices.
Golf Tournament Committee:
Committee Chair: Michael Stamp, EC Cooper, Inc.
The purpose of the Golf Tournament Committee is to support the Chamber in the planning and execution of the annual Donald Brubaker Golf Tournament.
All meetings are held virtually via ZOOM until further notice. Special meetings may be called pending current events.
Business & Education Committee
Committee Chair: Wendy Shutter, the Arc of Chemung-Schuyler
The purpose of the Business and Education Committee (B&E) is to support, strengthen and grow the Watkins Glen Area Chamber of Commerce’s educational and business community. This purpose is reached through a number of events that aim to stimulate our business economy and foster educational opportunities. Events include the SPARK DEI conference, Leadership Schuyler, StartUp FLX, and the Schuyler Hires Job Fair.
Meetings are held the 4th Friday of each month at 8:30 am. All meetings are held virtually via ZOOM until further notice.
